With multiple installations worldwide, Short-stress type Housing-less Stands are one of the main products developed by -, JEC, for, Rebar and Long Product, rolling sector. These high performance mill stands are successful because of their high rigidity and flexibility. The stands can be reconfigured quickly despite being in operation, permitting a wide range of production.
High stiffness and reduced elongation
The short stress path induced by the screw-down and chocks of the housing to counter rolling load, allows the stand to remain compact despite being highly rigid. Very tight product tolerances can be secured in spite of intense rolling loads.
